I agree pretty much with what Dean Schizer says. I noticed some of the comments fixated on the advocacy/scholar distinction he makes. I interpreted that a bit differently than those comments did. I think what he meant by advocate was perhaps overzealous advocate, i.e., someone who justifies the means with the ends, and would overlook facts that do not support their position rather than accepting those facts and refining their arguments to incorporate them.

So assuming I am correct as to what he meant about that point, then I think he makes a good overall point.
